Elyria Metal Spinning has been working with a local company who manufactures and markets differentiated products used for dispensing adhesives, coatings, sealants, biomaterials and other materials. We manufacture several products for them including a Hopper Base and Hopper Lid. Both of these parts are manufactured from 1100 -0 aluminum that is .050 thick. They are hand spun form an aluminum blank, which we provide and formed over manufactured tooling that represents the ID of the part. Once the spinning process is complete, it is then sent to our CNC machine side and trimmed to length. Additionally, small holes are punched out on our stamping machine, emery and scotch brite finish applied. Complete inspection is performed, then they are sent out to a contracted vendor who places a clear anodized coating on this part. Upon there retun, we inspect and ship to our customer.
